Better Way Designs Blankets are unique and one of a kind. They are made by talented artisan survivors.

I love them so much I have several of them in different sizes.  The kantha blankets wash up beautifully! I have them in our short term rental because they are way easier to wash than a heavy comforter.

The ones shown are a Baby Patchwork blanket and the original size. The original size is great for one person to cuddle in or to use as an accent in your living room or bedroom.

We also have an XL Boho Blanket and queen and King sizes. When you order online you pick a color but you never know what it will look like.  I typically have some in my inventory so if you prefer to see before you buy check with me to see what I have available.

Better Way Designs Chunky Knit Blankets provide dignified work for survivor Artisans. Tearing the strips of recycled sari fabric is very therapeutic for the women. The strips are then woven on a loom and each blanket has the name of the artisan across one of the corners. The Large size  provides 17.25 hours of work and the medium 13.5 hours of work.

The blankets have a bit of weight to them. Not as heavy as a weighted blanket which some may prefer. These make a great throw on a bed or couch.  I personally have one on my bed that I pull up because I love the weight.  It is recommended that you dry clean them.  I wash them on gentle and lay them out to dry.

These blankets are the perfect ethical choice  because the are unique and beautiful and they are creating freedom for survivors of trafficking. Not only do the organizations teach them to make the blankets but they offer counseling, education, child care, and more. Coming around and supporting the whole women.
