When I first attended a Better Way Designs Party, I had no intention of getting involved. I am an introvert, and the idea of stepping out of my comfort zone — let alone the thought of becoming a salesperson — seemed completely crazy. But that day, something extraordinary happened that would shape my life and career in ways I could never have imagined.
Your My First Step towards an Unexpected Journey
I left the event letting the host know I would not be doing this because sales made me uncomfortable. I closed the door behind me and before I got to my car it was like God was saying, “You mean you won’t be uncomfortable for these women?” God changed my heart in an instant. I knew I needed to embrace the uncomfortable and step into this mission. I made the choice that day and I’ve continued to make it over the last 7 years.
Embracing Imperfection and Finding Growth
In my ideal world, I would show up perfectly every time. But the reality is that to keep moving forward and growing, I had to consciously choose discomfort and embrace my imperfections. I’ve come to realize that flying by the seat of my pants, in a perfectly imperfect way, is a part of who I am. A planner has become my unexpected friend, keeping me on task and remembering the things I’d have forgotten without it, unless of course Bob had it on his planner. 🙂
The Rewards of an Unconventional Path

Choosing this path has brought many rewards. If you have hosted a party, purchased products, joined my team, or even made some noise on my social media, you have played a significant role in my success with Better Way Designs. Your support and belief in our mission has been invaluable. I am deeply grateful for having friends like you with me on this incredible journey.
One of the most memorable moments was when I received the first-ever “Dora Award” for bravery and courage at our recent conference. This award, named after a brave Artisan who showed bravery and courage on her healing journey, symbolizes the empowering journey to freedom that many women undertake. Receiving this award was an absolute honor, and I owe it all to your unwavering support.
Unexpected Opportunities
Last week, an unexpected opportunity came up when a local journalist contacted me for an interview. The idea of being interviewed was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, but I’ve learned that these are the moments when we grow the most. I embraced the opportunity and did it afraid.
I’ve since shared the interview on my Facebook page, and I would be immensely grateful if you could show your support by following my page
Stepping into the Extraordinary
As I reflect on my journey, I want to send a message of encouragement to all of you: Do not let fear hold you back from living your purpose! Embrace the discomfort, take a leap of faith, and step into the extraordinary. Your support has shown me the power of a community that believes in making a difference.
Thank you for being an incredible part of this journey. Together, we are making an impact that goes far beyond what we could have ever imagined.
